Learning Center Tutor
- Aided students in understanding the current curriculum taught to them
- Responsibilities included making sure the student understands the material and curriculum, supporting their learning process throughout each session, and following up with them on their understanding at the end of each session
Social Innovation Fellow
Over a 12-week period, the selected interdisciplinary fellows uncover, network, ideate, prototype and launch solutions that generate social impacts locally or globally in the most sustainable and efficient manner. The students collaborate with external organizations to solve a chosen problem. On a daily basis, interdisciplinary experts and mentors advise the fellows in order to enhance and develop the fellow’s solutions.
Project Scope: Promoting advanced manufacturing career paths in Massachusetts by illustrating the future of the industry to millennials.
-Analyzing current workplace methods in the manufacturing sector and suggesting changes to the way the industry is marketed to millennials who are starting their careers
-Building a physical kit that students can interact with to educate them on the advantages of studying technical skills
Learning Lab Tutor
- Held a calculus learning lab once a week for two hours
- Spent the first hour doing a planned activity would go over the current curriculum
- Spent the second hour helping students with homework
Teaching Assistant
- Teaching assistant for incoming Calculus students at the NSF Math Summer Bridge Program at Wentworth Institute of Technology from July to August.
- Proctored tests on calculus
